ESBAAR Hosts Technology Workshop for CCED to Drive Digital Transformation
On September 1, 2025, ESBAAR had the pleasure of hosting a collaborative workshop for CC Energy Development (CCED) at the Intercity Hotel. The event was held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, bringing together more than ٥٠participants from CCED, representing a wide range of departments including Senior Management, Drilling, Operations, Production, Projects, Exploration & Appraisal, ICT, Security, and HSE. Among the distinguished attendees was Mr. Mutaz Al Riyami, Managing Director of CCED, whose presence underscored the importance of the event and its alignment with CCED’s strategic direction. The workshop was also led by Mr. Sami Al Adwi, CEO of ESBAAR, reflecting ESBAAR’s commitment to driving innovation and building stronger collaborations with industry partners.
The workshop was designed with a dual purpose:
- To introduce CCED to ESBAAR’s latest technology-driven solutions that support the operator’s digital transformation journey.
- To enable ESBAAR to gain deeper insights into the operational challenges faced by CCED, ensuring that its solutions remain practical, targeted, and effective.

The agenda featured four highly engaging sessions, each highlighting cutting-edge innovations tailored for the oil and gas industry:
- Rig AI: Artificial intelligence-based solution for red zone monitoring, using WITS data and cameras to monitor human presence, equipment, and activities.
- Asset Inspection, & Cargo Drone: Demonstrating advanced drone capabilities for cargo delivery and automated inspection, reducing risk and improving turnaround times.
- Whiskers Industrial IoT Solution, & Asset Surveillance: Showcasing ESBAAR’s proprietary Industrial IoT technology for remote asset monitoring, real-time surveillance, and smarter decision-making.
- Survey, Mapping, & Digital Twin: Introducing digital twin technology and advanced mapping tools that enable operators to visualize and optimize field operations.
Strong Engagement and Collaboration
The sessions were supported with live demonstrations, which sparked active interaction between participants and workshop conductors. The energy in the room reflected genuine interest from CCED’s teams, and the feedback shared by the participants was overwhelmingly encouraging. Most of the responses ESBAAR received were positive, reinforcing the relevance, practicality, and potential impact of the showcased technologies.
